Technology-Enabled Subject
Education: Software for Regular Subjects.
Technology Enabled education provides for teaching of regular
school subjects with the help of Audio-Visual aids either in the
AV room or in interactive classrooms with the help of interactive
whiteboards. Spectrum will provide multimedia software for
implementation of technology enabled subject education. Session
planning / mapping would be done with the help of subject teachers
to use the content to the optimum. This will help the school to
implement Technology-Enabled Subject Education and use the ICT
infrastructure for teaching and learning of other subjects apart
from computers.

Creation of Interactive Classroom / Audio – Visual Room
The
technology enabled subject education will be implemented either in
Interactive Classrooms through interactive whiteboards or in the
AV room through a conventional projection system.
Interactive whiteboard systems combine the simplicity of a
whiteboard with the power of a computer and multimedia projector,
to transform classrooms and create dynamic e-learning
environments. Interactive whiteboards enable teachers and
students to control computer applications or explore the web
directly from the display, write notes in digital ink, and save
work to distribute, share or reuse later and hence are better
tools to implement interactive teaching-learning. If the school
opts, the computer-aided education program can also be implemented
in the audio-visual room.
The
entire infrastructure would be provided to the school on a turnkey
basis with no upfront investment required from the institution.
The infrastructure would be transferred to the school on
successful completion of the contract duration. |
